Job Title: Senior Finance Executive – Internal Finance (India, US & Canada Accounting)
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3–5 years
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day finance operations including bank accounting, expense booking, payroll entries, and vendor payments across India, US, and Canada entities.
- Manage and review general ledger accounting, revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
- Drive monthly MIS reporting, P&L analysis, balance sheet schedules, and financial variance analysis for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Lead client invoicing, billing cycles, receivable tracking, and approval workflows to ensure timely recognition and collection of revenue.
- Coordinate with external consultants and auditors (CAs and CPAs) for compliance, tax filings, statutory audits, and internal controls.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards (Indian GAAP with exposure to US GAAP) and maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Sales, and Operations teams for alignment on payroll, reimbursements, and other cross-functional financial activities.
- Oversee statutory payments and filings (TDS, GST, PF, ESI, PT) and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data and support ad-hoc finance or special projects as needed.
Skills & Attributes Required
· Strong foundation in core accounting, operational finance, and statutory compliance.
· Hands-on experience with bank accounting, expense management, payroll, and payment processing.
· Proficiency in Tally ERP 9, QuickBooks, and MS Excel.
· Working knowledge of billing systems, approval workflows, and client payment tracking.
· Ability to work independently, multitask, and handle tight timelines.
· Attention to detail with a solution-oriented and ownership mindset.
· Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
· Proactive and execution-driven approach to daily operations.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
· 3–5 years of hands-on accounting and operational finance experience, preferably in multi-entity or global setups.
· Exposure to US GAAP, intercompany accounting, and cross-border compliance is an added advantage.
