Role Description
The Senior Finance Executive will play a key role in managing the financial and strategy of the company in this full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, managing Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings, and overseeing accurate financial reporting. The role also involves developing financial insights to guide decision-making and contribute to strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Handle accounting functions, including bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, including GST and TDS, and prepare and submit all tax returns.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage financial budgets and forecasts, and report on variances and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Any Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and tax compliance.
- Proficient in Excel, Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
