This is not a routine accountant role. You will take meaningful ownership of financial operations for US businesses navigating rapid growth.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Finance Accountant, you will own month-end close and financial reporting for US e-commerce and retail clients. You will work within lean teams where your financial accuracy, process thinking, and direct collaboration with US leadership translate into tangible business value.
What You Will Own
- Own month-end close under US GAAP including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Manage inventory accounting, COGS analysis, and returns/refund reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accuracy for multi-channel e-commerce operations
- Prepare financial statements and operational performance reports
- Support marketplace revenue reconciliation (Amazon, Shopify, etc.) workflows
- Track cash flow movements and support working capital management
- Collaborate directly with US founders, Controllers, and operations teams
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting workflows
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP exposure
- Experience in e-commerce, DTC brands, or retail environments preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and marketplace revenue flows
- ERP experience (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Shopify integrations, or similar)
- Strong Excel and data reconciliation skills
- CA / CPA (or pursuing) is a plus
- Strong communication skills with US client interaction preferred
