Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Senior Fashion Designer, based in Delhi, India. The Senior Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating innovative and trend-setting designs, developing embroidery and textile patterns, and overseeing fittings to ensure garments meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics. The role also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, staying updated on industry trends, and ensuring all designs align with the company’s commitment to sustainability and ethical production.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Fashion Design and the ability to create innovative and commercially viable apparel designs.
- Experience and technical knowledge in Embroidery and Textiles, with a focus on premium quality craftsmanship.
- Skill in Fittings and garment construction with an eye for detail to ensure exceptional final products.
- Proficiency in fashion tools, software, and an understanding of current fashion trends and market demands.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to guide and mentor junior designers and work across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Experience in sustainable and ethical fashion design practices is highly desirable.
- At least 5+ years of experience in fashion design or a related role within the industry.
