1. Operations Management
● Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day factory operations, including production schedules, inventory management, and logistics
● Ensure optimal utilization of resources—manpower, machinery, and materials
● Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve targets
2. Quality Assurance
● Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and product quality in compliance with FSSAI and other regulatory requirements
● Collaborate with the quality control team to address and resolve product quality issues
3. People Management
● Recruit, train, and manage factory staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
● Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance employee capabilities
● Ensure adherence to HR policies and labor law compliance
4. Cost and Budget Management
● Develop and manage the factory budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities with
outcompromising quality
● Monitor expenditures and implement measures to control production costs
5. Maintenance and Safety
● Oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime
● Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
● Conduct regular safety and compliance audits
6. Stakeholder Coordination
● Liaise with the supply chain team for raw material procurement and timely dispatch
of finished goods
● Work closely with the R&D team for new product trials and production enhancements
We hope that you..
● Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related fields
● 8+ years of experience in factory or operations management, preferably in food processing
or FMCG industries
● Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
● Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
● Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
