Job Description – Senior Executive, YouTube

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Executive – YouTube to
manage and optimize our YouTube content operations. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for end-to-end video publishing, channel management, metadata
optimization, and ensuring content performance aligns with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day operations of the YouTube channel, including video uploads,
scheduling, and publishing.
• Optimize video metadata including titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and
playlists to improve discoverability and engagement.
• Monitor channel performance and generate regular analytics reports with
actionable insights.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Content, Marketing, Design, and
Production for timely content delivery.
• Ensure all content adheres to platform guidelines and internal quality standards.
• Track content performance metrics such as views, watch time, subscriber
growth, and audience retention.
• Stay updated on YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to
maximize channel growth.
• Support monetization initiatives and revenue optimization strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Mass Communication, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in YouTube/content operations or digital media.
• Strong understanding of YouTube Studio, CMS tools, and analytics dashboards.
• Good knowledge of YouTube SEO and content optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and presentation tools.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in OTT/media/entertainment industry preferred.
• Familiarity with digital rights/content compliance processes is an advantage.
