Reports to: Head – Training and Placement / Head – Corporate Relations
Job Summary:
The Senior Executive at the Training and Placement Cell is responsible for managing industry-institute interactions, facilitating student placements, and supporting training initiatives. The role demands excellent coordination skills, industry outreach, student engagement, and a strategic approach to enhancing employability.
Key Responsibilities:
· Placement Coordination:
o Organize campus placement drives.
o Liaise with corporate recruiters to facilitate job and internship opportunities.
o Maintain and update the database of recruiters and placement statistics.
· Industry Engagement:
o Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and HR leaders.
o Secure partnerships and MoUs with companies for internships and long-term engagement.
o Arrange industrial visits, live projects, and mentorship programs.
· Student Support:
o Guide students on career paths, industry expectations, and professional conduct.
o Prepare students for placement through continuous assessment and feedback.
o Address student concerns related to training and placements.
· Data & Reporting:
o Prepare annual placement reports, performance analytics, and feedback summaries.
o Ensure accurate documentation and communication with stakeholders.
o Assist in accreditations and rankings by providing placement data.
Qualifications & Skills:
· B.Tech/Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Education, or a related field.
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in placement, corporate relations, or training roles.
· Strong network with industry contacts and recruiters.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Proficient in MS Office, CRM/ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
Preferred Attributes:
· Experience in academic institutions or a technical education environment.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
