As Sales Development Representative you will have the opportunity to be our first impression on all prospective clients in the Indian market. Key Responsibilities:

  • This position is an integral part of our sales engine. SDRs are focused on the front end of the sales cycle and be the face of Mettl.
  • SDRs will act as a product consultant having a consultative sales approach.
  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects.
  • Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle.
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email.
  • Develop new sales strategies based on personal successes and failures
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a Sales team
  • Set appointments for Enterprise sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage.
  • Contributing to the creation and optimization of sales scripts, email campaigns, and various prospect messaging.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Ensuring smooth flow of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application.

Qualifications:

This entry-level position requires an ambitious self-starter and someone that can effectively process inbound inquiries and identify qualified leads and opportunities. Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels are essential.

  • 2+ years of successful experience as an SDR/BDE/Customer Service.
  • Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of a product selling points via phone and email
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team.
  • Experience in B2B Domain or experience in selling SAAS Products.
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by Mercer Mettl.
  • Experience in using HubSpot & ZOHO or any other CRM or Marketing Tool.
  • Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win
