Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven assistant manager for our recruitment team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, and the ability to manage multiple recruitment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Recruitment Process Management:
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job requisition to offer acceptance.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and determine candidate profiles.
- Manage candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, and selection processes.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
2) Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development:
- Proactively source candidates using various channels such as job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and networking events.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Use creative sourcing methods to target passive candidates and niche skill sets.
3) Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a point of contact for both candidates and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers and leadership on recruitment progress and challenges.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with hands-on experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate sourcing techniques.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of recruitment metrics and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with recruiting for multiple functions, professors, including technical, managerial, and non-technical roles.
- Experience in recruitment from EdTech or university will be an added advantage.
