We are Delhi based Freight Forwarding Company having pan India presence, we specialize in freight forwarding, warehousing, customs clearance & inland transportation. We are looking for a candidate from freight forwarding background who can help us in expanding our business in Mumbai & nearby areas.
Ideal candidate should have an experience of 2-5 years in core freight forwarding sales.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly driven Business Development professional from the freight forwarding industry who is currently handling sales and client acquisition. The ideal candidate should have an existing client base / business in hand and the ability to consistently generate new revenue through client meetings and conversions across Air & Sea (Export/Import).
Key Responsibilities:
· Bring in immediate business through existing client base.
· Identify, approach, and acquire new clients in freight forwarding.
· Conduct regular client meetings and sales visits to generate new opportunities.
· Handle end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, negotiation & closure.
· Manage customer queries and offer competitive logistics solutions air & sea, export & import.
· Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure monthly target achievement
· Develop long-term relationships to drive repeat and incremental business.
· Coordinate with operations for smooth execution and service delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Graduate in any discipline, MBA/ PGDM is preferred.
· 2–5 years of core experience in freight forwarding sales & business development.
· Must be currently working with a freight forwarding company.
· Existing customer base / proven business generation track record is required.
· Strong knowledge of Air Freight & Sea Freight (Import & Export).
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
· Self-driven, target-oriented, and aggressive in closing deal.
