Educational Qualification- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry
- Geology / Earth Sciences
- Materials Science / Metallurgy
- Engineering (Mining / Chemical / Mechanical)
Experience- 2–6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in mining, minerals, or manufacturing industry
- Hands-on experience in raw material inspection, in-process checks, and finished product quality verification
- Exposure to lab testing of minerals (e.g., silica, limestone, ores, etc.)
Technical Knowledge- Strong understanding of:
- Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- ISO standards such as
- ISO 9001:2015
- Sampling and testing procedures for minerals
- Material specifications and compliance requirements
- Experience with:
- Incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections
- Laboratory equipment and testing methods
- Calibration and maintenance of instruments
QA Processes & Responsibilities- Conduct:
- Raw material quality checks
- Process quality monitoring
- Final product inspection and release
- Handle:
- Non-conformance reports (NCR)
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Maintain:
- Quality documentation and test reports
- SOPs and inspection records
- Audit documentation
Audits & Compliance- Experience in:
- Internal audits and supplier audits
- Ensuring compliance with industry and export quality standards
- Supporting third-party inspections
Key Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail in testing and reporting
- Knowledge of statistical quality tools (SPC, basic QC tools)
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work with production and operations teams
Preferred Qualifications- Certification in:
- Quality Management / ISO auditing
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)
- Experience in export-quality minerals or bulk material handling industries
