Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time Senior Executive Purchase role based in Bangalore.. The Senior Executive Purchase will be responsible for supplier selection, procurement of raw materials, negotiation of contracts, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing strategies. The role also involves maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials essential to the manufacturing process. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with the production and quality teams to meet operational demands and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of procurement and vendor management processes
- Experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Proficiency in inventory management and sourcing strategies
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of industry-specific materials and standards (e.g., wire, cables, and harnesses)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing or related industrial setup is an advantage
