Job Title: Senior Executive - Purchase
We have an opening for the position of Senior Executive - Purchase at Online Instruments India Limited.

Experience: 5–8 Years
Industry Preference: Mechanical / Electronics Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement of mechanical, electronics, and electrical components
• Develop and onboard new vendors to ensure a reliable supply base
• Lead cost negotiation and achieve cost reduction targets
• Handle import procurement activities including vendor coordination, documentation, and logistics follow-up
• Source and procure sheet metal, plastic, Packing materials , Electronics , Electrical and casting parts as per technical specifications
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery
• Ensure timely availability of materials to meet production schedules
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for material specifications and approvals
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
• Manage inventory levels and avoid excess or shortage of materials
• Resolve supplier-related issues including quality, delivery delays, and pricing
• Maintain procurement MIS reports and support management reviews
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong experience in purchasing mechanical, electronics, and electrical parts
• Expertise in vendor development and supplier management
• Strong negotiation and cost optimization skills
• Knowledge of import procurement processes and documentation
• Good understanding of sheet metal, plastic, and casting components
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in Mechanical / Electronics manufacturing industry
• Exposure to global sourcing and import procedures
• Strong network of suppliers and vendors
