Role Description:
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for customer requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers across multiple product categories.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize vendors.
- Ensure procurement at the best quality, competitive pricing, and optimum lead time.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Accounts, and Logistics for seamless order execution.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order confirmations.
- Monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Resolve procurement-related issues including delays, shortages, and quality concerns.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives to improve cost efficiency and supplier performance
