Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kurseong for a Senior Executive Purchase. The primary responsibilities include managing procurement processes, sourcing high-quality materials, and negotiating with vendors to secure the best terms. The individual will be responsible for maintaining vendor relationships, evaluating purchase needs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to company standards and budgetary constraints. Additionally, the role requires monitoring inventory, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in procurement processes, supply chain management, and vendor negotiations
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate pricing, quality, and suppliers
- Experience with inventory management and maintaining procurement records
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams
- Proficiency in using procurement software and basic knowledge of financial planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or related roles, preferably in the hospitality sector
- Commitment to sustainability and ethical procurement practices is a strong advantage
