Senior Executive-Production ( API )
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive-Production (API) to oversee and optimize the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients at our Digwal site, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and production targets.
- Lead and supervise a team of production operators and technicians in API manufacturing processes.
- Ensure timely and efficient production of APIs according to production plans and schedules.
- Monitor and control production parameters to maintain product quality and process efficiency.
- Implement and enforce cGMP guidelines, safety regulations, and environmental standards within the production facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Prepare and review batch production records, logbooks, and other relevant documentation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for optimization, reducing waste, and improving yields.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and R&D teams to ensure seamless production operations and new product introductions.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Conduct equipment calibration checks and ensure proper maintenance of production machinery.
Job Qualifications**
- Btech in Chemical Engineering, .
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in API manufacturing within a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical company.
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP, ICH guidelines, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing production teams and supervising manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of various API synthesis processes, reaction mechanisms, and purification techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with process automation systems and relevant production software is a plus.
