Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a pioneering institution in skill-based education established under The Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim Act 2021. With a vision to bridge skill development and higher education, MSU actively collaborates with employers, corporates, and industries to design curricula, deliver programs, and provide hands-on training, internships, and apprenticeships. The university focuses on flexible learning and competency-based modular courses, fostering continuous learning and global recognition of skills. MSU is sponsored by Medhavi Foundation, a National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) partner founded by IIT alumni and impacting over 100,000 students annually since 2012.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area for a Senior Executive - Partnership Development. The role involves identifying, establishing, and nurturing partnerships with corporates, industries, and other stakeholders to align with MSU’s skill development and education objectives. Responsibilities include coordinating with industry leaders to design curricula, implement training programs, and create opportunities for apprenticeships for students. The role also includes maintaining long-term relationships with stakeholders and facilitating collaborations for strategic growth of the university’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship management and communication skills to build and sustain partnerships with corporates, industries, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and partnership development.
• Proven understanding of skill development programs, workforce upskilling, and education ecosystems.
• Strategic planning, ability to negotiate effectively, and translate business needs into actionable collaboration models.
• Previous experience in skill development, higher education, or workforce training sectors would be beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or related fields. A higher degree or certifications in related areas is a plus.
• Proficiency with technology and project management tools is advantageous.
