Job Description
Maintenance & Operations
- Carry out preventive and corrective (breakdown) maintenance of:
- Ship-to-Shore (STS) Cranes
- Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) Cranes
- Rail Mounted Gantry (RMG) Cranes
- Fire protection & hydrant systems
- Diesel Generator (DG) sets
- Air compressors, pumps, and utility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and ensure minimum downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.
- Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and inspection of rotating equipment.
Planning & Documentation
- Prepare preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain maintenance logs and equipment history records.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and raise indents when required.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards.
- Follow lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
Performance Improvement
- Suggest improvements for equipment reliability.
- Support breakdown analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in AMC management and cost control.
