We are looking for a Senior HR Executive who can build, own, and scale the HR function at Macgence.
This is not a coordination role.
This is a high-ownership role where you will be responsible for end-to-end HR including hiring, performance, payroll, and employee lifecycle management.
You should be someone who does not wait for instructions, but identifies gaps and fixes them.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end hiring across roles (tech + non-tech) with strong timelines
- Build and maintain a structured hiring pipeline with backup planning
- Drive performance management systems (KPIs, tracking, reviews)
- Identify low performers and implement improvement plans
- Proactively work on retention of top talent
- Manage payroll processing accurately and on time
- Oversee leave management, attendance tracking, and employee records
- Implement and manage HRMS / automation tools
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and execution
- Reduce dependency on founders for HR decisions and execution
What We Are Looking For
- Someone who has built HR processes from scratch (0→1)
- Strong ownership mindset (not task-following)
- Experience in payroll management and leave systems
- Proven ability to close hiring fast (with data/metrics)
- Experience in performance management frameworks
- Ability to identify problems and solve without being told
- Strong execution speed and follow-through
Qualifications
- Strong skills and experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Workforce Planning
- Proficiency in Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, and fostering Diversity and Inclusion
- Knowledge of HR Compliance, Employment Laws, and Policy Development
- Experience in Payroll Management, Compensation Planning, and Benefits Administration
- Excellent Verbal Communication, Written Communication, and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to analyze HR data and create strategic plans to support organizational goals
- Proficiency with HR software and systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred
