Senior Executive – HR (Payroll & Compliance)
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 4–8 Years
Work Schedule: 6 Days a Week
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Senior Executive – HR (Payroll & Compliance) to join our growing team at Jus Jumpin. This role is critical in ensuring accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and seamless HR operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Handle salary structuring, reimbursements, incentives, and final settlements (F&F)
- Validate payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, bonuses, deductions, and statutory components
- Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and reconciliations
- Address employee queries related to payroll, tax, and deductions
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.
- Timely filing of statutory returns and maintenance of records/registers
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and auditors for compliance matters
- Stay updated with changes in labour laws and ensure organizational adherence
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support audits (internal/external) with relevant payroll and compliance data
- Assist in policy implementation related to payroll and compliance
- Drive process improvements and automation in payroll and compliance systems
Key Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in payroll and statutory compliance
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory regulations
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing for a mid to large-sized organization
- Advanced Excel skills (mandatory) – including formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation
- Experience working with HRMS tools (preferred)
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to work 6 days a week
