About the Role
The Senior Executive – Student Life (Wellness Program) plays a key role in supporting the mental, emotional, and social well-being of students. The role focuses on providing counselling support, driving wellness initiatives, and contributing to a positive and inclusive campus environment aligned with the University’s student development goals.
Education & Experience
Essential:
- Master’s Degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in counselling, preferably within an educational institution
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
Preferred:
- Experience in conducting mental health workshops and training programs
- Familiarity with online counselling platforms and digital outreach tools
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, empathy, and professionalism
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling & Support
- Provide one-on-one counselling to students facing academic, personal, or emotional challenges
- Offer timely crisis intervention and emotional support for students in distress
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records and counselling documentation
2. Outreach & Awareness Initiatives
- Support campus-wide mental health and wellness campaigns
- Conduct workshops on stress management, emotional resilience, and coping strategies
- Collaborate with faculty and student bodies to promote mental health awareness
3. Student Clubs & Mentorship
- Support the implementation of Directorate of Student Life (DOSL) initiatives and policies
- Mentor and guide student clubs/organizations through structured engagement and training
- Foster student participation in wellness and Student Life programs
4. Program Development & Evaluation
- Assist in designing and executing student well-being initiatives, including SIP sessions and wellness programs
- Collect and analyse student feedback to enhance program effectiveness
- Contribute to reports, assessments, and impact evaluations
5. Sponsorship & Resource Mobilisation Guidance
- Guide and support student clubs and organization's in identifying and approaching potential sponsors
- Assist students in developing proposals and engagement strategies for sponsorship opportunities
- Encourage resource mobilisation initiatives to enhance student-led programs and events
