Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented finance executive to support Group-level financial operations across banking, SoA, compliance, audits, and internal finance systems. The role involves direct execution, coordination with cross-functional teams (Ops, Systems, Legal), and interaction with external partners such as banks and auditors.
You will act as the first line of execution and escalation for the Group Finance Lead and play a key role in maintaining financial hygiene, compliance, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities:
Banking Operations & Compliance
- Manage account opening, closure, and maintenance with banking partners
- Collate and submit company bank statements and balance confirmations for regulatory & visa purposes
- Track and reconcile bank charges; raise corrections as needed
- Support annual compliance filings:
- Annual Performance Report (APR)
- SBLC (Standby Letter of Credit) documentation
Statement of Accounts (SoA)
- Validate all transactions
- Collate supporting documentation
- Coordinate with external CA and bank for query resolution
- Support ongoing transaction hygiene
Due Diligence Support
- Build and maintain customer/vendor/employee schedules and contracts
- Present and classify data as per country-specific accounting standards
- Assist in responding to due diligence queries from internal/external stakeholders
- Analyze the Financials
Audit Coordination
- Liaise with internal & statutory auditors on data collection and checklist fulfilment
- Implement auditor recommendations to strengthen system/process SOPs
System Sanity & Controls
- Review and debug the Job Exception Report
- Tag historic On-Account transactions with correct Line of Business
- Assist in the closure of historic opening balances
- Support closure of jobs and transactions in coordination with product finance and ops teams
Qualification:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and banking—preferably within logistics or freight forwarding
- Working knowledge of banking systems, SoA processes, and financial controls
- Proficient in Excel, ERP tools (Logi-Sys, Tally, etc.), and comfortable working with data
- Strong attention to detail with execution mindset
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders (internal teams, banks, auditors)
- Comfortable operating under deadlines with high accountability
