Job Title: Senior Executive – Accounts & Finance

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance professional with 3–4 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and business finance. The role requires strong ownership of accounting processes along with analytical capabilities to support profitability analysis, forecasting, and financial decision-making in a dynamic start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and present monthly MIS reports with key financial indicators (revenue, costs, margins, variance analysis).
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
- Track budget vs actuals and highlight deviations.
2. Forecasting & Business Analysis
- Prepare revenue and cost forecasts based on ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Conduct project profitability and business segment profitability analysis.
- Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
3. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping activities including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Ensure strong control over Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Perform periodic reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer) and resolve discrepancies.
4. Billing & Working Capital Management
- Oversee client billing cycles and ensure accuracy in invoicing.
- Monitor receivables and drive timely collections.
- Manage vendor payments and optimize working capital.
5. Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure timely and accurate GST and TDS compliances including returns and reconciliations.
- Maintain proper documentation for statutory requirements.
6. Process Improvement & Cost Control
- Identify gaps in existing financial processes and implement efficient business controls.
- Drive initiatives for cost optimization and revenue leakage prevention.
- Strengthen internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
7. Audit & Stakeholder Management
- Assist in statutory audits and tax audits, ensuring timely closure.
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, operations) and external stakeholders (auditors, consultants, vendors).
- Provide financial data and insights as required by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance (B.Com); CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, MIS, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST & TDS).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level preferred).
- Experience with accounting tools like Tally / Zoho Books (preferred)
