About the position:
We (Kohler India Technical Center) are a global center responsible for providing technical and nontechnical services for all the businesses and product lines for Kohler Co. globally (including Kitchen and Bath, Hospitality). We are on the journey of establishing a center for excellence, responsible for bringing cutting edge solutions with the latest technologies and creating a delivery function for various implementations across functions.
We are looking for a Senior Executive, Supply Chain Analyst to join our team and strengthen our Supply Chain Analytics Organization. This role will play a critical part in building and sustaining the foundational data capabilities required for supply chain network modeling, optimization, and visualization. As a key enabler of the Network Design COE, the analyst will manage data pipelines, automate workflows, and deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics and visualization. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate, learn, and grow within a dynamic global supply chain environment, working closely with the broader analytics team and various Supply Chain COEs
Role and Responsibilities
Data Management & Pipeline DevelopmentDesign, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to support supply chain network modeling and analytics.Integrate and transform data from multiple sources including SAP, TMS, WMS, and external datasets using tools like SQL, Python, and Alteryx.Automate data workflows and ensures accuracy, consistency, and availability for modeling and visualization purposes.Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to streamline data ingestion and transformation processes.
Data Analysis, Coding, and VisualizationPerform exploratory and statistical data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights across the supply chain.Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau to support decision-making.Use Python for data wrangling, automation, and advanced analytics tasks such as forecasting, clustering, or optimization support.Leverage Excel (including VBA scripting) and Power Query for quick-turnaround analysis, prototyping, and ad hoc reporting.Prepare and validate datasets for use in supply chain network modeling tools (e.g., Llamasoft, Optilogic)
Collaboration & SupportWork closely with the Network Design COE team to provide data-driven support for strategic initiatives.Partner with Advanced Analytics, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams to align data requirements and outputs.Assist in the development of standardized data models, templates, and reusable scripts for recurring analyses.
Process Improvement & DocumentationIdentify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve data quality and accessibility.Document data sources, transformation logic, automation scripts, and reporting standards to ensure transparency and repeatability.Contribute to the development of best practices for data governance, coding standards, and analytics within the supply chain function.
What we are looking for from your past experience
Experience requirement:
Must Have’s 5–7 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a supply chain or operations environment. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics. Experience with data transformation tools such as Alteryx or similar ETL platforms. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA scripting for automation. Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as sourcing, inventory, transportation, and capacity planning. Experience working with large datasets from ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and integrating data from multiple sources. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a passion for solving complex problems with data. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and effectively.Added Advantage Exposure to supply chain network modeling tools (e.g., Llamasoft, Optilogic) is a plus. Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Fabric) is an advantage. Knowledge of data governance and master data management principles.Work experience 7+ Years of overall experience in Supply Chain/ Data Analysis and/or related fieldEducational Qualification requirement:
Degree in Engineering, Data Analysis, Operations Research, Data Science or similar
Organizational Relationships:
- Reports to Senior Manager – Supply Chain Operations & Design
- Regular interactions with Global Supply Chain and Operations teams
- Frequent interaction with Internal stakeholders including SC Leadership teams
Other Details:
The associate should have the flexibility to work in shifts to accommodate an overlap with US Stakeholders timings.
