Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Executive – Payroll with strong proficiency in data handling, numerical accuracy, and payroll processing. The role requires managing end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing with high accuracy and adherence to timelines
- Maintain and validate large datasets related to employee compensation, attendance, leaves, and deductions
- Perform payroll reconciliations and ensure zero-error payouts
- Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other applicable regulations
- Generate payroll reports, MIS, and analytics for internal stakeholders
- Extensively work on data for reports, MIS, audits, and due diligence requirements
- Manage F&F settlements, bonus payouts, and variable pay calculations
- Address employee queries related to payroll, taxation, and deductions
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong numerical ability and data orientation
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, data validation, reconciliation)
- Good understanding of payroll structures and statutory compliance
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality
- Problem-solving mindset with process-driven approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in data and payroll
- Experience with payroll software/HRIS systems
- Experience in Keka HRMS is an added advantage
