About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Engineering
Manager to lead engineering governance, platform reliability, and infrastructure initiatives while working closely with leadership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning large-scale production systems and driving engineering best practices across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead platform reliability, security, and engineering governance.
- Drive infrastructure improvements and operational excellence.
- Own cloud infrastructure and production environments.
- Manage database governance and platform architecture.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and strengthen CI/CD processes.
- Define engineering standards, documentation, and technical best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, resilient systems.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js/TypeScript.
- Experience managing production systems in fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Experience with MongoDB and large-scale database management.
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Experience building secure, scalable cloud-native applications.
- Strong leadership, ownership, and decision-making skills.
