Hiring: Senior Engineer – Quality Assurance (Aerospace Composites)📍 Location: Surat,Gujarat
🏭 Industry: Aerospace & Automotive Composites Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities- Lead In-Process & Final Inspection of Aerospace Composite (Monolithic & Sandwich) components
- Prepare and submit FAI reports as per AS9102
- Develop and review Quality Plans & Dimension Inspection Plans
- Handle Non-Conformities & Customer Complaints with effective RCA & CAPA closure
- Conduct technical gap analysis for FAI & NPD projects
- Face and manage Customer & External Audits
- Maintain documentation as per AS9100 / Aerospace Quality Standards
- Coordinate with customers for Part Clearance & Dispatch Approval
- Review Mechanical, Chemical, Tg & NDT reports
- Lead daily QA review meetings and update MIS
Technical Requirements- Strong knowledge of inspecting Composite Parts (Monolithic & Sandwich structures)
- Hands-on experience with:
- CMM
- Laser Tracker
- 3D Scanners – FARO, Metra Scanner, Creaform
- Proficient in report generation & dimensional analysis
- Sound knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation
- Experience in preparing:
- FAI (AS9102)
- Quality Plan
- Dimension Inspection Plan
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100
Qualification & Experience- B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Aerospace / Production
- 5–8 years of experience in Aerospace / Precision Manufacturing QA
