Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Engineer – Operations and Maintenance at Vibgyor Energy’s location in Defence Colony. The Senior Engineer will oversee and manage the daily operations and maintenance of solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance. Key responsibilities include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, monitoring system performance, and coordinating with field technicians and stakeholders to maintain efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications
- Practical knowledge and experience in Operations, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of solar energy systems or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of Electrical Systems, including fault diagnosis, system testing, and repair methodologies.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality management practices in technical operations.
- Technical proficiency and familiarity with monitoring tools for assessing solar system functionality.
- Proven skills in team coordination and the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Relevant certifications in solar energy are preferred.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to work on-site and handle hands-on field operations as required.
