Role Overview
Senior Engineer with 5 to 7 years of strong expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS), along with hands-on experience in .NET, APIs, React and distributed systems.
Proficient in Kafka/RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, databases, and CI/CD, with the ability to lead teams and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern technologies
- Build and manage microservices and event-driven systems
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
- Develop and integrate APIs, services, and databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps)
- Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
- Participate in Agile processes (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Mentor junior developers and guide team deliverables
- Contribute to long-term technical roadmap and innovation
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience with backend development: .NET (C#)
- Good to have experience in Python
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with cloud platforms: Azure or AWS (preferred)
- Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, RDBMS, NoSQL)
- Frontend exposure (JavaScript, React)
- Understanding of OOPs, design patterns, and distributed systems
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
Experience & Qualifications
- 5–7 years of relevant software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Master’s degree or cloud certifications are a plus
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and environments
- Experience leading small teams or mentoring developers
