Position: Senior Engineer (MFT & EDI Focus)
Location: Remote (1st month onsite in Bangalore for training, then remote)
Shift Timings: Graveyard Shift (Starts from 7 PM or 11 PM IST)
Experience: 5–8 Years (EDI: 3+ Years, Overall: 5–7 Years)
Scope & Responsibilities:
• Set up file transfer configurations for customers in EDI and Axway Managed File Transfer platform
• Own platform maintenance (OS, application patching, operational automation)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot file transfer and platform issues
• Analyze and report platform issues to product vendors
• Provide on-call support (US/Pacific hours on weekdays & weekends)
• Build automations to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability, and performance
• Contribute to self-service capabilities for customers
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong experience with Axway Secure Transport
• Good knowledge of AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Oracle on EC2)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, RunDeck)
• Strong Shell/Python scripting with REST/JSON APIs
• Proficiency in Git (GitHub)
• Hands-on Linux and database administration experience
• Strong debugging skills
• Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in collaborative, multi-discipline development teams
• Exposure to Agile (SAFe preferred)
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools
• Basic knowledge of batch scheduling tools like Autosys
