Your impact
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Engineer to handle end‑to‑end design and engineering of
Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Warehouse Systems for industrial projects
- Prepare engineering deliverables Design Basis, Concept Notes, MDS, MR, TBA, PR
- Design and specify MHE including forklifts, stackers, dock levelers, lifts, hoists, and cranes (EOT, Goliath, Jib, etc.)
- Handle vendor coordination and VDR review
- Design warehouse & racking systems (conventional, non‑conventional, automated)
- Develop racking, MHE, and man‑material movement layouts; warehouse sizing and traffic analysis
- Work on conveying, palletizing, bagging, and automation/robotics systems
- Perform and review structural calculations (racking loads, wheel loads)
- Apply IS, ISO, EN, NFPA, NBC and safety standards; select materials & paint for hazardous areas
- Lead a team of engineers/designers, manage schedules and man‑hours, and coordinate with clients and vendors
Here's what you'll need
Education BE- Mechanical (Post graduation will be added advantage but not mandatory) Experience in material handling 10 to 15 Years
- Material Handling Equipment, Warehouse Systems, Racking Design.
- MHE Selection, Crane Engineering, Automation & Robotics.
- Warehouse Layouts, Traffic Analysis, Structural Calculations.
- Hazardous Area Classification, Codes & Standards (IS / ISO / EN / NFPA / NBC).
- Vendor Engineering, VDR Review, Team Leadership, Project Engineering.
- Design and engineer racking systems (conventional, non‑conventional, and automated)
Develop and review
- Warehouse and racking layouts
- Man & material handling layouts
- Warehouse inventory planning and sizing
- Traffic management and aisle analysis
Exposure to
- Product filling and bagging systems
- Material conveying and transfer systems
- Palletizing systems
- Robotics‑based automation solutions
