Your impact

The BIM Engineer – Data Centers is responsible for creating, developing, and coordinating Building Information Models across Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil/Structural disciplines for mission‑critical data center projects. The role supports multidisciplinary design teams by ensuring high‑quality model production, precise coordination, and accurate documentation aligned with project standards and digital delivery requirements.

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil/Structural disciplines.
• Produce coordinated drawings, layouts, schedules, and documentation extracted from BIM models.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate issues across disciplines
• Ensure model compliance with project standards and BIM protocols.
• Model high‑density cooling systems, containment layouts, and equipment rooms.
• Support redundant electrical system modeling, UPS arrangements, and generator systems.
• Ensure structural components consider heavy equipment loads and mission‑critical features.
• Support standardized, scalable design solutions.
• Conduct systematic quality checks and model validation.
• Maintain BIM templates, families, and content libraries and Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and construction teams.
• Support accelerated project schedules and participate in coordination meetings and resolve clashes.
• Prepare construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Translate engineering markups into accurate BIM models.
• Provide technical support on Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.
  
  
  

Here's what you'll need

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering with 8 years of BIM experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD; Civil 3D/MicroStation optional.
• Familiarity with CDE platforms like ACC/BIM 360.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Knowledge of data center design principles.
• Experience with automation (Dynamo/Python).
