Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Engineer based in the Pune Division. The Senior Engineer will oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising on-site teams, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, conducting inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and solving technical issues promptly. The role also involves preparing technical reports, managing resources effectively, and contributing to innovative solutions for project execution.
Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Construction Management
- Project Management: Skills in planning, resource allocation, and adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot challenges during construction and propose effective solutions
- Communication: Strong leadership, team collaboration, and verbal and written communication abilities
- Knowledge of Building Codes: Familiarity with safety regulations and local building standards
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record of handling large-scale projects is highly desired
- Proficiency with Tools: Experience in using software like AutoCAD, Primavera, or other relevant tools is advantageous
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to contribute to process improvements and innovative construction practices
