Senior Endpoint Security & Network Security Engineer
The Senior Endpoint Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of cyber security systems. This role will work closely with the customers in conducting proof of concept, value creation for the customer requirements, architecture design and its deployment.
Key responsibilities:
• Administration and maintenance of the endpoint protection infrastructure
• Provide direction and support in the implementation of leading-edge endpoint antivirus, EDR, application control, DLP, secured web gateway, email protection, privilege management security technologies utilizing a risk-based approach for conducting demo, proof of concept and deployment to customers.
• Provide engineering solutions to address new threats leveraging implemented endpoint tools and identify gaps where improvement and/or new controls are needed.
• Take part in the design, build, and run of a variety of endpoint and network security implementations in a diverse and complex environment, taking ownership of each initiative and producing successful outcomes. • Work within a team of security engineering professionals responsible for planning, design, implementation, attack prevention and mitigation and ongoing support of security systems of high complexity to fulfil security requirements without impacting business needs.
• Implement security and threat protection controls protect data and applications using a diversity of cloud and on-prem Endpoint security tools.
• Managing system performance, capacity, and service quality
• Troubleshooting of problems with platforms
• Client transitions and handovers Skills
• Good communication skills
• 5+ years’ experience in IT systems and/or infrastructure, supporting enterprise-scale security solutions.
• Strong interest in cyber security technologies.
• Excellent understanding of Cyber Security Operations and Incident Response processes.
• Experience analysing system security (penetration testing, web application security assessment, vulnerability scanning, threat modelling, etc)
• Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience in implementation and administration of Endpoint security – EPP and EDR, DLP, mail security, firewalls, web application firewall, AD deployment, IDAM solutions
• Should have experience working in secured web gateways, web proxy servers, Identity Incident & access management
• Knowledge of on-prem and cloud infrastructure technologies
• Capability to develop professional documents in the form of reports, analysis, documentations (in English)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mind, and outstanding problem-solving skills
• Experience in working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and communications skills required to address and resolve issues in a matrixed environment.
