About The Role
Driven by ongoing DevOps transformation within a global banking environment, this role focuses on strengthening SDLC governance, deployment compliance, and automation for mainframe development. You will own and modernize the Endevor change‑management platform, integrating it with modern CI/CD tooling while ensuring stability, auditability, and scalability across global teams.
Required Skills
- Mainframe SDLC & Change Management
- CI/CD Integration (Endevor + Jenkins / GitHub)
- Mainframe Technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, CICS)
- Automation & Scripting
- Regulatory Compliance in Banking / Financial Services
Good‑to‑Have Skills
- Endevor Bridge (GitHub integration)
- Endevor REST APIs
- DevOps Tooling & DevSecOps Practices
- Technical Documentation & Runbook Creation
Roles And Responsibilities
- Perform day‑to‑day Endevor administration, ensuring platform stability, security, and regulatory compliance
- Lead and support global DevOps transformation initiatives, aligning Endevor workflows with SDLC and deployment standards
- Design and implement automation solutions to eliminate manual processes and reduce operational overhead
- Integrate Endevor with GitHub using Endevor Bridge and support API‑based extensions and tooling
- Support and enhance Endevor build and deployment processes for new and existing applications
- Integrate Endevor with Jenkins (mZooM) to enable mainframe CI/CD pipelines
- Provide business‑hours and out‑of‑hours support, including incident analysis and resolution for mainframe development teams
