Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, based in Thane. The role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software solutions for Bhoomi's advanced analyzers. Responsibilities include writing and debugging embedded software, collaborating with hardware teams, testing software performance, and optimizing designs for efficiency and reliability. The engineer will actively engage in the software development lifecycle to ensure robust and innovative solutions align with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electronics / Computer Engineering / Embedded Systems or equivalent.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in embedded software development in an industrial/product R&D environment.
- Expertise in Embedded C (and C++ preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software development
- Experience in Software Development and Software Design practices
- Expertise in Debugging and optimizing embedded system performance
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems RTOS, microcontrollers, and hardware interfacing
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency with development tools and software debugging tools
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field
- Previous work experience in designing or maintaining gas or liquid analyzer systems is a plus
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M series MCUs, STM32, NXP, Renesas, or similar.
- Exposure to FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or similar RTOS.
- Experience in bootloader development and firmware upgrade-over-the-air (OTA).
- Knowledge of Python scripting for test automation or PC interface.
- Familiarity with IoT frameworks, MQTT, or cloud integration.
