Compensation: 12 to 18 L + Significant ESOPs (Equity)

The Opportunity

We are Sipnudge Technologies. We are building the future of consumer hydration with our smart water bottle, and we are looking for a Embedded Engineer to lead our firmware engineering.

This is a high-impact role based at our HQ in Jalna. You will be part of the founding engineering team, working directly with the hardware leads to turn prototypes into a mass-manufactured product.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Firmware Architecture: Architect and maintain production-grade firmware. We need someone who can navigate both ESP-IDF and Nordic ecosystems, choosing the right tool for the job.
• Low-Power Optimization: Squeeze every microamp out of the battery. You will manage deep sleep modes and power states on Nordic nRF or ESP32 chips.
• Security Implementation: Implement end-to-end device security, including Flash encryption, Bootloader encryption, and secure communication channels.
• IoT & Connectivity: Master the full stack of IoT communications (BLE, Wi-Fi). You will handle GATT profiles, advertising packets, and integration with third-party cloud platforms/ML services.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Maintain software via GitLab. You will set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and releases.
• Hardware Integration: Work deeply with the hardware team to stress test hardware, develop device drivers, and validate physical outcomes in the lab.

Requirements

• Chipset Expertise:

1) ESP-IDF: Deep familiarity with the Espressif IoT Development Framework.

2) Nordic Semiconductor: Experience with nRF52/nRF53 Series and the nRF Connect SDK (Zephyr RTOS).

• Protocol Proficiency: Strong knowledge of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) stacks, Wi-Fi, and IoT communication standards.
• Security Focused: Experience with firmware security (Secure Boot, Encryption, TLS).
• Tooling: Proficient in Git (GitLab) and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on: Willingness to test actual physical outcomes and debug hardware/software interactions using logic analyzers and power profilers.
• Commitment: Must be willing to work on-site in Jalna, Maharashtra.
