Syncopated Marketing is a growing email and SMS marketing agency. We work with D2C ecommerce brands across the US, Canada, and Europe, primarily on Klaviyo and Omnisend.
We currently work with 20+ brands across a wide spread of categories: supplements, peptides, healthcare, perfumes, balms, clothing, art, and outdoor gear. Several of our clients do over USD 1M in annual revenue.
We're a 12-person in-office team in Bhopal today. We're looking for a senior email marketer to own a portfolio of client accounts end-to-end: strategy, flows, campaigns, creative direction, and reporting.
Location: Bhopal, MP (100% in-office)
Experience: 4+ years in email marketing, with hands-on Klaviyo experience and a proven track record working with D2C ecommerce brands
The Role
You'll own a portfolio of 5 to 9 D2C brands and be responsible for everything that drives retention revenue for them. You won't be writing the copy or designing the emails yourself. You'll be the strategic and creative lead: setting the vision, briefing copywriters and designers, reviewing what comes back, and pushing for the right output until it lands.
Specifically, you'll be responsible for:
- Owning end-to-end retention strategy for your assigned accounts: audits, roadmaps, quarterly plans, and revenue targets
- Briefing copywriters and designers, then reviewing their output. You need to know good copy from weak copy, on-brand design from off-brand, and give sharp specific feedback that gets the work right without endless rounds
- Building and optimizing lifecycle flows in Klaviyo or Omnisend: welcome, browse/cart/checkout abandonment, post-purchase, winback
- Planning and shipping the monthly campaign calendar for each account
- Setting up segmentation, A/B tests, and predictive audiences to push performance
- Running monthly reporting for clients: what worked, what didn't, what's next
- Being the senior email voice on client calls: presenting strategy, walking through performance, defending decisions
Must-haves
- 4+ years in email or lifecycle marketing
- Direct experience working with D2C ecommerce brands (agency or in-house)
- Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo
- Strong creative judgment: you can look at a piece of email copy or design and immediately call out what's working, what's not, and why
- A clear vision for what good lifecycle marketing looks like across welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, and winback
- Comfortable with the numbers: open rates, CTR, CVR, revenue attribution, deliverability basics
- Excellent written and spoken English, comfortable on calls with US, Canada, and EU clients
- Strategic thinker: you don't wait to be told what to send next, you build the roadmap
- Comfortable with US time-zone overlap for occasional late-evening client calls

- Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem
- Experience in supplements, health, wellness, beauty, or similar D2C verticals
