Automaton AI is seeking a proactive technical leader to take ownership of electrical network validation, asset surveying, and data quality for major utility initiatives. If you excel at bridging the gap between field engineering and GIS technology, we want you on our team.
Position Overview
- Role: Senior Electrical Project Engineer | No of Openings = 06 Openings
- Experience: 3–5+ Years experience in electrical engineering, utility surveys, or distribution projects or similar electrical projects
- Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Location: Corporate Office at Hinjewadi, Pune | Requires travel across Maharashtra as per project needs
- Salary: Highly competitive (No bar for the right candidate)
- Core Skills: HT/LT Networks, Asset Surveying & Validation, GIS Mapping, ArcGIS/QGIS
What You Will Do
- Survey Leadership: Spearhead and validate field, GPS, and drone-based surveys for electrical assets (HT/LT, OH/UG networks).
- GIS & Data Validation: Technically validate GIS layers, GDB data, network topology, asset connectivity, and feeder segregation against approved data models.
- Quality Assurance: Execute rigorous technical checks on electrical network data, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and connectivity diagrams prior to client delivery.
- Team & Client Collaboration: Mentor field survey teams, resolve on-site technical issues, and liaise directly with utility clients (e.g., MSEDCL) for technical discussions and requirements gathering.
What We Are Looking For
- 3–5+ years of direct experience in electrical engineering, utility surveys, or distribution projects (Prior DISCOM/utility experience is highly preferred).
- Strong practical command over HT/LT distribution systems, substations, transformers, and network topology.
- Proficiency in interpreting Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical drawings (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
- Hands-on expertise with ArcGIS/QGIS, Geodatabase (GDB) models, and drone/GPS survey data integration.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation).
- Exceptional analytical and team coordination abilities.
