Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Electrical Engineer – Design & Costing, based in Ahmedabad. The role involves the design and development of electrical systems and panels, creating cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. Responsibilities include creating technical design schematics, performing cost analysis, managing power distribution requirements, and collaborating with production teams to deliver custom panel solutions. The candidate will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into efficient engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and general principles of Electricity
- Strong expertise in Electrical Engineering and the development of advanced electrical panels
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and the ability to implement compliance measures
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or related tools is an advantage)
- Prior work experience in panel manufacturing or similar industry preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
