We're Hiring: Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Automation

About the Role
As a Senior Design Engineer – Automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation and electrical control solutions for material handling equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective automation systems that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Design and develop electrical control panels based on project specifications.
🔹 Select and integrate automation hardware including:
- PLC
- VFD
- HMI
- Safety PLC
- Safety Relays
- Sensors
- Switchgear
- Circuit Breakers
- Communication Devices
🔹 Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and control panel layouts using CAD software.
🔹 Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain engineering documentation in ERP.
🔹 Review RFQs, evaluate technical specifications, and prepare project cost estimates and proposals.
🔹 Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, Sales, Installation teams, vendors, and customers for seamless project execution.
🔹 Participate in project kickoff meetings and provide technical inputs.
🔹 Perform root cause analysis of customer complaints and implement engineering improvements.
🔹 Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Qualifications
Education
- BE in Electrical Engineering
- BE/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
- BE in Electronics Engineering
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Automation Design, Control Panel Design, PLC-based Systems, Material Handling Equipment, or Industrial Automation.
