Principal responsibilities
Design Engineering:
· Conceptualization and Undertaking Design Calculations & Basic Design of Air Separation, N2 & other plants in cost effective manner.
· Review of in-house prepared detailed electrical design drawings, Bill of Material
· Approval of GA and detailed fabrication drawings prepared by Sub-Suppliers
· Application of LINDE standards and customer/consultant standards
· Application of statutory rules & regulations.
· Keeping updated knowledge of Engineering Codes & Standards and Statutory Compliances
· Compliance to Engineering and Industrial Safety Standards
· Coordination with Project / Construction / Vendors for resolution of technical issues during execution
· Participation in technical review meeting with Design Appraisers / Engineering Consultants / Clients
Construction Supervision:
· Evaluation of various Electrical Erection Contractors at site location.
· Managing workmen, coordinating with Contactor at site for smooth, safe & timely Erection activity.
· Monitoring of material availability in correspondence with Engineering Documents.
· Monitoring all statutory requirement of Electrical Erection job.

Required key skills (functional/technical)
· In-depth Technical Knowledge in electrical power system engineering, Layout preparation.
· Basic knowledge of Electrical Equipment, Automation.
· RFQ preparation of Motor, Transformer, Panel etc. of Megawatt capacity plant.
· Effective Communication skills
· Working in Team and in Collaborating
· Proficiency in usage of software design tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, SP3D, PDMS etc.
· Updated knowledge on Statutory rules & regulation required for electrical design & Industrial Safety
· Ability to deliver against strict deadlines & given cost
Required qualifications/experience
Engineering Degree in Electrical with minimum 6-8 years of experience in relevant field.
