Role Description
This is a full-time, WFO position for an Education Counsellor based in Bengaluru. The Academic Counsellor will in-person visit the student home and guide and support students in selecting suitable academic programs, address their educational queries, and provide personalized advice to help them achieve their potential. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising students, coordinating with parents, maintaining detailed records of student progress, and fostering a collaborative relationship between learners and educators to ensure a fulfilling learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and parents
- Advisory, counseling, and mentorship skills to support learners in identifying their academic plans
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with individuals
- Prior experience in academic counseling or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with EdTech solutions and platforms is an advantage
