An E-commerce Executive manages and supports a company’s online sales operations. Their main job is to make sure products are properly listed, marketed, and sold through e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, or a company’s own website.
Key Job Responsibilities 🛒
1. Product Listing & Catalog Management
Upload new products to e-commerce platforms
Write product descriptions, titles, and specifications
Add images, prices, and stock details
Ensure listings are SEO-friendly
2. Order Management
Track customer orders from purchase to delivery
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams
Handle order cancellations, returns, and refunds
3. Inventory Management
Monitor product stock levels
Update inventory on platforms
Prevent out-of-stock or overselling issues
4. Sales & Performance Analysis
Track daily sales reports
Analyze which products perform best
Improve product visibility and conversions
5. Online Promotions & Campaigns
Manage discount offers and promotional campaigns
Participate in sales events (e.g., festival sales)
6. Customer Support
Respond to customer queries and reviews
Handle complaints and feedback
7. Website / Marketplace Management
Maintain product pages and categories
Work with digital marketing teams for ads or SEO
