We are seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Functional Consultant to lead functional solutioning and delivery across complex client engagements. The ideal candidate will be a subject-matter expert with strong consulting experience, capable of driving end-to-end solution design, mentoring teams, and engaging with senior stakeholders.
This role requires ownership of the full lifecycle—from discovery and architecture design to implementation, governance, and post-go-live support—while ensuring scalable, high-quality, and business-aligned solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Core Consulting & Solution Leadership
• Own the end-to-end functional solution across complex or multi-stream client engagements.
• Translate business needs into scalable Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
• Lead functional design decisions balancing client requirements, risks, and long-term maintainability.
• Provide strategic advisory to senior stakeholders on solution roadmap and value realization.
• Ensure alignment of solutions across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and integrated systems.
• Drive fit-to-standard approach while managing necessary customizations.
Stakeholder Management & Client Engagement
• Engage with senior client stakeholders (Directors, Sponsors, Business Heads).
• Act as the primary functional escalation point for complex issues.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and executive-level discussions.
• Communicate complex functional and technical trade-offs clearly.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships and ensure high client satisfaction.
Functional Design & Platform Expertise
• Design enterprise-grade solutions considering:
- Performance and scalability
- Security and access models
- Data architecture and governance
- • Lead configurations across:
- Dataverse (entities, relationships, security models)
- Model-driven apps and business processes
- Power Automate (workflows, approvals, orchestration)
- • Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices and ALM standards.
- • Guide integration patterns, automation strategies, and platform governance.
Delivery Governance & Risk Management
• Establish and enforce functional governance, documentation standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks (scope creep, over-customization, data complexity).
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive solution quality through reviews, checkpoints, and acceptance criteria.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Mentor and guide functional consultants and junior team members.
• Provide direction on requirements, functional design, and test strategies.
• Review and improve documentation, user stories, and solution artifacts.
• Drive capability uplift and consistency across project teams.
Testing, Release & Operational Readiness
• Oversee UAT cycles, defect triage, and functional validation.
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure release readiness, deployment validation, and smooth go-live.
• Define post-go-live support models and operational readiness plans.
Pre-Sales & Practice Development
• Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution design, estimations, and proposals.
• Support RFP responses, client demos, and proof-of-concepts.
• Develop reusable assets, accelerators, and best practices.
• Contribute to practice growth, knowledge sharing, and internal capability building.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform consulting.
• Strong experience in end-to-end delivery across multiple client engagements.
• Deep functional expertise in:
- Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service)
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse, Model-driven apps)
- • Strong understanding of:
- Data modeling, security roles, and governance
- Environment strategy (Dev/Test/Prod)
- Solution lifecycle and deployment practices
- • Experience in consulting / system integrator / Microsoft partner environments.
- • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- • Proven ability to lead teams and mentor consultants.
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft Certifications (atleast 1):
- Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant
- Power Platform Functional Consultant
- (Preferred) Power Platform Solution Architect
- Experience with:
- Power Pages
- Advanced automation and orchestration patterns
- Integration architecture and API design
- Knowledge of:
- Azure services and DevOps practices
- Identity & access management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
- • Experience in enterprise-scale implementations and governance frameworks.
