Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior .NET Developer role based in Chennai. The Senior .NET Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC, following best practices in object-oriented programming and software engineering. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, implementing APIs and integrations, optimizing performance, and ensuring code quality through reviews and testing. The role also involves mentoring developers, contributing to architecture and design decisions, and supporting deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives across Captiv’s revenue-focused digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong programming foundation with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming skills.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development, including end-to-end application lifecycle ownership.
- Advanced proficiency in .NET Core and related ecosystem components.
- Practical experience building web applications using ASP.NET MVC.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with cloud or enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Comfort with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile or iterative delivery methods.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in high-growth product or platform environments is an advantage.
