Job Description – .NET Developer (Microservices & Azure)
Client: Top Automotive Product Company
Experience: Minimum 5+ Years
Work Mode: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)
Location: Bangalore / Client Location
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and Microservices architecture to design and build scalable backend applications. The candidate will work on enterprise-level solutions, contributing to API development, system integration, and cloud-based deployments within Volvo’s digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Build and maintain microservices-based applications
- Develop clean, scalable backend logic using C# and .NET Core
- Implement unit testing and ensure high code quality
- Work on Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and optimize database interactions
- Write efficient queries using LINQ and SQL
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
- Deploy and manage applications in Azure cloud environment
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
Required Skills & Experience
- ✅ 5+ years of experience in .NET development
- ✅ Strong hands-on experience with:
- C# and OOPS concepts
- ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
- REST API development
- Entity Framework Core (EF Core)
- LINQ and SQL
- ✅ Experience working with Microservices Architecture
✅ Strong understanding of:
- Data structures
- Design patterns
- Clean coding practices
- ✅ Hands-on experience with Unit Testing frameworks
- ✅ Experience working with Azure cloud services
- ✅ Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
- Exposure to event-driven architecture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
