Senior Presales Solution Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Presales Solution Architect with a strong background in IT services and a proven track record in presales and solutioning roles. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud technologies, managed services, and outcome-based models, along with exceptional business acumen and leadership skills. This role requires the ability to create high-level solution architectures and delivery frameworks while leading large, multi-million dollar bids in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead presales activities, including the development of solution architectures and delivery frameworks for cloud-based services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and tailor solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to executive stakeholders.
- Drive the creation of managed services and outcome-based models that align with client objectives.
- Conduct pricing, deal structuring, and TCO/ROI modeling to support bid submissions.
- Manage multiple bids simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in presales and solutioning best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- 10 to 15 years of IT services experience with at least 5 years in presales or solutioning roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their application in modern workplace and digital transformation.
- Proven experience in leading large, multi-million dollar bids.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, deal structuring, and TCO/ROI modeling.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in building managed services or outcome-based models.
- Ability to work under tight timelines in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in IT services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
- Proven leadership experience in a presales environment.
