Summary:
Leads and shapes Human Resources strategy to support business goals. Serves as a trusted advisor to leaders on complex employee relations and organizational matters; drives engagement and culture; and partners with stakeholders to deliver scalable HR programs across compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and policy. Builds and implements approaches that attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with business leaders to align people strategy, organization design, and workforce plans with company goals.
- Serve as the senior HR Business Partner for the India/GSD scope, partnering with US counterparts to clarify role requirements, translate local needs, and drive effective job design, job descriptions, and budget inputs to enable scaling.
- Partner with US HR leadership on core talent practices, including career architecture/leveling, banding, and compensation benchmarking, and ensure consistent application locally.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations, performance management, investigations, and risk mitigation; coach leaders and HR team members on best practices.
- Lead engagement, culture, and inclusion initiatives; design leadership and manager development programs that strengthen capability and accountability.
- Oversee talent acquisition strategy and execution, ensuring diverse pipelines, effective selection practices, and a strong candidate/manager experience.
- Provide oversight for HR operations (beyond payroll), including HR administration, talent acquisition, HRIS/data integrity, benefits coordination, and service delivery; drive standardization and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations and oversee required reporting and audit readiness (e.g., EEO, OSHA).
- Partner with Total Rewards to align compensation and benefits programs with business needs and market practices.
- Strategic, proactive problem-solver who anticipates risks and implements practical solutions.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; able to diagnose root causes and drive sustainable improvements.
- High integrity and discretion; consistently earns trust and maintains confidentiality.
- Executive presence and stakeholder management; effectively partners with senior leaders and cross-functional teams (including Legal).

Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 20+ years of progressive HR experience, including 10+ years leading and developing HR teams.
- Demonstrated expertise across key HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, organizational effectiveness, DEI, and employment law compliance.
- Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM, HRCI).
- Experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies.
- Strong HR program/project management capability; able to lead initiatives end-to-end.
- Working knowledge of HRIS and recruiting tools.
