Summary & Overview of the Position
As a Senior Account Manager – Digital Media, you will play a critical leadership role across multiple brands, working closely with the P&L owner to drive business growth, client success, and team excellence.
This role goes beyond execution — it requires end-to-end ownership of accounts, teams, and revenue alignment, along with a strong understanding of integrated communications across digital, PR, content, and media.
A key expectation from this role is an AI-first mindset. You will be responsible for leveraging AI tools and capabilities to improve efficiency, enhance creativity, unlock insights, and deliver smarter, faster outcomes for clients and internal teams.
You will ensure smooth day-to-day functioning across brands, build strong senior-level client relationships, and enable teams to deliver high-quality, insight-led, and future-ready work.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Business Ownership
- Own and oversee multiple client accounts across markets, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Partner closely with the P&L owner on revenue planning, forecasting, and account profitability.
- Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling of integrated services.
- Ensure high levels of client retention through proactive thinking and consistent delivery excellence.
Client Leadership
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Lead strategic conversations, aligning digital initiatives with broader business goals.
- Deliver integrated communication solutions by collaborating across digital, PR, content, and media teams.
- Ensure all outputs meet the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and strategic intent.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and mentor teams across brands, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Drive team efficiency, resource allocation, and workload management.
- Enable capability building, upskilling, and best practice sharing across the team.
- Actively manage team performance, motivation, and growth.
Strategy & Integrated Thinking
- Guide the development of digital strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Ensure strong integration across channels — social, performance, content, influencer, and PR.
- Bring a clear understanding of full-funnel marketing and communication ecosystems.
- Integrate AI-led insights and automation into strategies to drive smarter outcomes.
- Contribute to new business pitches, approach documents, and strategic frameworks.
Execution Oversight & Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end campaign planning and execution across platforms.
- Ensure robust measurement frameworks and actionable reporting for clients.
- Maintain high standards of creative and content quality.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and delivery.
- Ensure teams leverage AI tools and workflows to improve productivity, creativity, and reporting accuracy.
AI-First Mindset & Capabilities
- Apply an AI-first approach across strategy, execution, and team workflows.
- Leverage AI tools for content creation, research, reporting, and campaign optimization.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, turnaround time, and output quality using AI.
- Guide teams in adopting AI responsibly and effectively in their day-to-day work.
- Stay updated on emerging AI trends and translate them into practical applications for clients.
- Balance AI-driven efficiency with human creativity, judgment, and brand understanding.
Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (design, content, media, PR) to deliver integrated outputs.
- Liaise with external partners, vendors, and platforms for campaign execution.
- Support business development teams with strategic inputs and client engagements.
Innovation & Capability Building
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and platform updates.
- Introduce new ideas, formats, and solutions to enhance client outcomes.
- Contribute to strengthening internal capabilities and the digital practice.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in digital/media/advertising agencies.
- Proven experience in managing multiple accounts and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, performance marketing, and content strategy.
- Working knowledge of AI tools and platforms relevant to marketing, content, and analytics.
- Experience in revenue management, account growth, and senior client servicing.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to think strategically while ensuring executional excellence.
